MONEY, MONEY, MONEY AND THE SEVERE LACK OF IT

I was watching C4 news last night and it outlined just how bad things are in the Country and how much worse they have become in the last 18 months, things that are shielded from us.  For a Government that was going to put the Country back on it's feet, they are doing a pretty bad job of it, however they are reverting to the class divide, something which we were all getting used to as now no longer (or hardly) being there.  Yes, back to the good old days of the Tories keeping the wealthy, wealthier and the poor, well...just bloody poor.

The program did however highlight how a lot of what so called "middle class" families are being put through under this Government and how giving out food parcels to this division of class in our Country has risen by 70% in the last 18 months.  One family, both professionals, were bringing in a fairly good income between them a couple of years ago and decided it was time to have children, they had twins.  Now, they have to rely on food parcels, to keep the roof over their head, they have had to sell off their household goods and the lady actually said in hindsight, as beautiful as my twins are, I wish I'd never had them - We are all however, professors in hindsight.  Another couple, also living quite a good life, have had the plug pulled from underneath them, a small baby and having to use a key meter for electricity, her husband spends a quarter of his wage commuting to work and at the end of every week, they were lucky if they had £5.00 left!!  They too had to rely on the good services of the fantastic charities for food parcels!

When are we, as a nation, going to stand up and say..."hey take a look at us, our taxes bailed out the banks, where is our return?  Why are we paying for you lot to go on massive holidays every year, why do you drive such big cars and give massive bonuses to those who don't need it, what do those people have 8 days in their week and work 19 hours in their day of which they are working errrr NO, why are we being penalised for your mistakes, why do you only want us when election time comes round, why are you shafting the ordinary working people, why don't we have a manufacturing industry anymore, why are our highly trained and skilled public sector workers wishing they had never gone into nursing or policing, why did the Tories allow the whole Country to be put on sale for other Countries to buy up, why, why and why"?

They say that "money is the root of all evil", that saying is never truly said, the actual saying is "the love of money is the root of all evil" and your love, makes you just that!
