Linda has been through a long haul of breast cancer treatment, a lot of surgery and then to top it off
septicaemia, where she nearly lost her life, yet she has never let it get her down, however, we both find that you cannot be positive ALL of the time and 'happy clappy', that would just be annoying.
Once we both read The Secret and The Power by Rhonda Byrne, we dip into it every now and again, especially on those days where you doubt the power of positivity...and we find it lifts you up, just reading one page. But also by using the positive principles from The Power, we find we can shrink a bad day down to maybe a bad couple of hours. No matter how positive you are S**T happens and it will get you down. We find though by using The Power we can push aside the bad stuff and get on with the good stuff. Once we mastered the art of using the teachings of The Power, we realised we can use the principles of the power of attraction. We know that if you surround yourself with negative people, you will feel negative, if you surround yourself with positive people, you too will be positive. The law of attraction is something that works for everyone....We have printed out the little passage below to put on our notice board as we think it is not only a fantastic way of getting a great start to your day, but it also allows you to look at things you would never normally notice and only take for granted.
Please feel free to print it off yourself and if you would like your own pretty laminated copy, let us know and we will send you one.
A Secret Scrolls message from Rhonda Byrne
Creator of The Secret
From The Secret Daily Teachings Begin your day by feeling grateful. Be grateful for the bed you just slept in, the roof over your head, the carpet or floor under your feet, the running water, the soap, your shower, your toothbrush, your clothes, your shoes, the refrigerator that keeps your food cold, the car that you drive, your job, your friends. Be grateful for the stores that make it so easy to buy the things you need, the restaurants, the utilities, services, and electrical appliances that make your life effortless. Be grateful for the magazines and the books that you read. Be grateful for the chair that you sit on, and the pavement that you walk on. Be grateful for the weather, the sun, the sky, the birds, the trees, the grass, the rain, and the flowers.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
May the joy be with you,
Rhonda Byrne
