As part of our project plans, we where constructing a website shopsmart4real.com. How we came to use the hosting company Hostzilla.com is another story my friends, all I need say now is that a tasty free software carrot was dangled. Not only did we never receive the tasty free software, but the site often wouldn't load, Hostzilla.com failed to communicate or offer the level of support we where promised and expected. In the course of all this we came across another company, Hostzil.la who made every offer to assist us, even calling us in good olde Yorkshire from sunny L.A., even though we where not their customer (and therefore not really their problem). We had problems loading content and in the end we had to pull the plug.
Being a wise old internet shopping owl we had used Paypal to pay, and we were able to reject the part refund offered by Hostzilla.com and get ALL our money back. I know from my time as an internet trader that Paypal is a tough partner, almost always siding with the buyer, so my friends please use Paypal when buying online, personally I use a credit card via Paypal for extra protection.
But I digress, (not uncommon), so now we are looking for other website hosting options, to use and develop our internet skills here on the blog. We have other ideas maybe a girls v boys blog-off, we shall see!
Will this blog always be about shopping online?? Well we will keep posting great deals when we see them, and if you follow the links from here then that will show that you are interested, and you never know, we might all earn or save a little.
